Today I am suppose to go to the Trafford Centre with Mindy and Jack to check out the condition of the restaurant which I will be working in the future.
After second thought, I decided to stay with my laptop at home because today is my dad's birthday and I plan to sing him a birthday song.
20th September 2007. Today is a special day for me. Its my dad's birthday!! He had finally reach his 50's today. Happy 50's Birthday Dad.
I sang a birthday song for him through Skype. I watched him as he made his wish, blew the candles and cut the cake through the monitor. In spirit, I was there celebrating his birthday with him.

Cindy.. yes, last nite we celebrated your fathers 50th birthday. Actually he planned to have a grand celebration but somehow something pop up, so its confined to our own immediate family.
But i truly enjoyed it this way, d quite one. Its good that plan failed. Hehehe.. Shh! We went out to dinner n after that its at home, you with us in all ways except physically. Truly thanks to Skype! Imagine d long hours we hanged on to it most days. If its d telecommunications here, just dare not imagine how much we wl need to pay. 20-30 cents/min for local call n overseas, how much is it? Abt a dollar? Simply hilarious!
But one thing id like to share most with you is, i think fathers 50th birthday celebration do indeed brings good luck to me. Know whats that? Just in one morning today, i earned abt $700 from my stocks. Isnt it fantastic? Just sit tight n wait to see if more luck wd comes in d afternoon. Till then ... Lots of love, Mommoi
