Feel kinda nostalgia

I was browsing through my Facebook just now and I happened to spot the group which someone created for students and ex-students of STTSS (Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School).

As I read through the contents of the group, once again the feel of nostalgia struck me. The contents begun with a line of dramatic words - " The memory we have in STTSS is the most memorable time we have in our lives.." **In fact it is!!**

Under those dramatic words, there was a list which was written in a funny way, "what makes TTSS students cool" .

- Mr. Tsen can talks more than an hour during assembly every monday

- The first thing you see Mr. Lai when he walks around a corner is.... his stomach

- Mr. Tsen says:" Tshung Tsin yi jia qin 崇正一家亲."

- We heard about pagoda's ghost stories.. or any ghost stories in TTSS..

- We all have Mary Liau as our KHB teacher..

- Sport days are the most important event for all the students

- Sport days are the most memorable event for all the S3 students

- Flies in canteen's food

-We all know who is Ham Leong.. PE teacher..

- 7 houses.. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and Pink..

- 8 classes.. Zhong, Xiao, Ren, Ai, Xin, Yi, He, Ping.. Sometimes, we have Li (For 1988 students)

- We all like to cheat during tests and exams..

- We always complaint about the air-con.. Sometimes, it's too cold.. sometimes, it's too hot..

- We escape classes and go to eat at canteen..

- We sleep in class..

- We all hate spot check..

- We play hide-and-seek with prefects during recess..

- We like to make our hairs 24/7, even during classes

- We like to look at the mirror 24/7, even during classes

- We like to put our books in the desks' drawers.. we never bring books home..

- We all like to eat in class.. with 10 feets high books in front of our desks..

- We all study last minutes before the exams.. we still the best school ever..

- We used to take SPM and UEC in S3 (but changed now, take SPM in S2 anf take UEC in S3)

- People go to Tshung Tsin nights to 'muk' liang moi and liang zai..

- We always copy our parents' signatures and sign it on our report cards..

- "Honesty is the best policy" Penguin aka Mr Lee!

- Mr Pung says: "Do the right thing at the right time!!!!"

- For guys, we need a really short hair cut.. no side beard..

- For girls, we all must tie our hair.. cannot have long front hair

- Seniors Guys like too wear too long pants..

- Girls like to wear skirt with A shape design..

- We all need to hang a 'green' (for girls) and 'red' (for guys) rectangular card on our neck in order to go to toilet..

- Girls cannot wear black bras..

- We make our shoes look like slippers..

- Guys like to have 'Durian' hairs..

- Our Principal Mr. Tsen is really phony and his nose hair is very long.. teeth all yellow cuz he smokes and drinks coffee..

- the cleanest class is announced in assembly

- we are not encouraged to speak dialects

- we have got 'Lower chinese' class

- we learn crappy songs in J1 (OMG!!)

- apart frm black bra, chicks arent allowed pink bras too (dayum)

- guys like to grow long hair

The pagoda

As I read through the list, my mind wondered back to those happy moments I had when I was still studying at STTSS.**miss miss**

The most memorable times of mine at TTSS was the time when I had my 1 hour lunch with two of my best buddy, Stephanie and Joanne during the 3rd time recess. During those days, I was like looking forward to hear the bell rang exactly at 1.10pm everyday.

Every afternoon, 3 of us will have our lunch at the second floor of the canteen as it felt more windy compared to the 1st floor. The 1st floor of the canteen were so crowded during recess time. You can see students squeezing through to get their food, aunties at stalls shouting at those malay kakak, "cepatlah cepatlah,banyak orang!!"**use your imagination**

After our lunch, 3 of us will start our gossiping session. We planned our weekend, our shopping day, we talked about bits which had happened in our class, we shared secrets, we gossiped about our crush and many more. We used to chat till the bell rang at 1.50pm, then we dragged our leg back to our class.

After a few minutes of nostalgia moment, I happened to browse through a group named "I miss Malaysia's food", so I clicked it in and oh my gosh!!! curiosity kills a cat!! My saliva was dripping as I browse through those photos.

I've just chatted with my mum a while ago, she asked me if I miss home or not? I said of course I miss home and people back in Malaysia. Surprisingly, after second thought, I told her that I miss Malaysia's food the most!!**food can't be sent through skype **
